L3.2Track and report CCAS progress across departments

Effective climate policy requires coordinated and sustained action to achieve meaningful results. To support this, the Sustainability Team developed the Climate Action Tracker website as the primary tool to:

• Communicate progress on climate action to the public and stakeholders;
• Coordinate interdepartmental efforts on climate action initiatives; and
• Monitor Surrey’s community and corporate greenhouse gas emissions.

Launched in November 2023, the Tracker will be updated biannually to ensure transparency and accountability as the CCAS is implemented in the years ahead.
