Official description

Develop and publish a schedule of anticipated future updates to climate related building standards
(Full action name in the CCAS)

Updates to building standards will be introduced over time to improve energy and carbon performance, and climate-resiliency of new buildings. Establishing a timeline for these updates will provide predictability and allow City staff and the building community to prepare in advance. This timeline will need to be developed in consultation with the building industry.
