Description

The Urban Forest Management Strategy and Biodiversity Conservation Strategy aim to protect and enhance the urban forest and biodiversity in the city, which provide numerous benefits such as clean air and water, improved health and livability, reduced infrastructure costs, and aesthetic and recreational value. Successful implementation of these strategies requires funding to move forward with the actions identified with each. Projects and issue papers that support moving forward with these strategies will be brought forward for Council consideration through current and future budget processes.
