Identify opportunities for leading low-carbon construction practices in City design and construction standards, purchasing guidelines and contracts

The Engineering Department issues several publications to guide the design and construction of City infrastructure, including the Design Criteria Manual. This action will have City staff identify and incorporate low-carbon construction practices into these standards, in addition to purchasing guidelines and the issuing of contracts.
