Description
As the City’s standards for new construction evolve to address energy efficiency and emissions reductions, compliance processes must be regularly updated to keep pace. A comprehensive review of current practices for reviewing BC Energy Step Code submissions can help identify opportunities for improvement and streamlining.
This review will consider new tools provided by the Province, best practices from other jurisdictions, and an evaluation of existing processes to ensure the administration of energy and emissions regulations remains effective and efficient.
